The author strongly believes that Identifying “I” is the root cause of Peace and Happiness. The truth is “I” does not change, only ‘the Feel’ about anything changes. The Reader is requested to understand that “That does not change, “I”, is Permanent” and “That which changes,’the feel’, is Not Permanent”.
For the identification of “I,” one needs to reflect on their thoughts and engage in introspection. Once we start observing “I,” we can begin the process leading to unending real Peace and Happiness.
Normally we ‘feel’ that the appearing physical body is “I”. If this physical body is “I”, will “I” change when we cut our nails, have our hair cut, undergo an operation, or amputation (unfortunately) or any other physical transformation that this body go? Why is “I” not changing? If we really ‘feel’ about our physical appearance, relationships, status, money, possessions etc, is that feel permanent?
The Reader is requested to understand the Think Thoughts thoroughly or many more times to get happiness
Think thought 1: Why are we (can be Author or Reader ) relating this physical body or appearance with “I”?
Think thought 2 : As time progresses, the Physical body/age changes/increases. Changes appear in this physical body. Thoughts and privileges, needs, and actions change with time. In these situations has “I” changed?
Think thought 3 : We (The Author and the Reader) are given a name. For what is the name given? What is happening to this name during sleep/deep sleep? Who is active in deep sleep also? Who is enjoying/observing/acting in the dreams? Who is forming situations/materials/other people in dreams? Can we be without dreams? Is “I” there in the dreams?
Think thought 4 : What is happiness/sorrow ? Who is receiving it? Is it “I” or “Me”? Why and When we feel happy/sorrow?
Think thought 5 : What is the limit to happiness? How do we measure happiness? Did “I” ever measure the happiness?
Think thought 6 : For how long the happiness stayed? Did “I” ever calculate the time length of happiness?
The Author feels that, if we can deeply think about this, we are on the path to Happiness.
